Job summary

Marriott Jacksonville Downtown is seeking a Room Service Attendant to ensure top-notch guest experiences by delivering and setting up food and beverage orders, and serving VIP amenities. You will participate in banquet service and maintain sanitation standards throughout shifts.

The role requires effective communication, physical stamina, and a customer-first approach to support daily hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Able to lift and move items up to 100 lbs. and carry trays up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation.
• Serve VIP amenities and hospitality suites.
• Complete shift side work and follow operating policies.
• Respond to guest needs and report issues to supervisor.
• Handle cash where required following company policies.
