Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Room Service Attendant to deliver food and beverage orders and ensure a positive guest experience. You will set up, deliver, and service meals, maintain sanitation, and assist with VIP amenities while upholding hotel standards.

The role requires ability to lift up to 100 lbs, strong communication, and teamwork in a busy setting. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred; the position is on-site with full-time hours and benefits

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders per company standards.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays for sanitation.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Service hospitality suites per Banquet Event Orders and policies.
• Complete shift side work as outlined in operating procedures.
• Respond to guest needs and report issues to supervisor.
• Handle cash and follow company policies.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
