The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking a One Stop Counselor for the Downtown Campus to deliver information on undergraduate admissions, financial aid, and registrar services across multiple channels, including in-person, phone, and email.

The role emphasizes assisting students and families with policies, registrations, and scholarships, while mentoring less experienced staff and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of university procedures.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• One year of related work experience.
• Additional education or experience may substitute on a one-for-one basis.

Mansioni

• Counsel, solve problems, and provide excellent customer service to prospective and current students and families regarding undergraduate admissions, registration, financial aid & scholarships via counter, call center, and email.
• Create presentations on and off campus for outreach as needed.
• Refer students to appropriate home offices or other campus offices as needed.
• Use professional judgment to assist with escalated student/parent issues, admissions denials, financial aid eligibility, or extenuating circumstances.
• Process transcripts, financial aid & scholarship paperwork, register/withdraw students, generate and distribute transcripts and verification letters, and handle related enrollment services paperwork.
• Assist home offices with processing as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of university information, policies, and opportunities.
• Stay updated on enrollment services processes including federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
