Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay - Downtown is seeking an on-site Restaurant Cook for a full-time role in San Diego, CA. The position involves preparing food to consistent quality, following recipes, and assisting in kitchen operations.

Hotel experience is preferred; applicants should be able to lift up to 100 lbs and maintain proper food safety practices. Competitive benefits accompany a stable, team-oriented environment.

Competenze

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs.

Mansioni

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time to avoid over-prep.
• Date and rotate perishables; maintain proper temperatures.
• Check pars for shift; determine necessary prep, freezer pull and line setup.
• Assist in keeping buffet stocked and manage waste per standards.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment (deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, mixers).
