Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Dexterity to operate food machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start items prepared ahead of time without over-preparing.
• Rotate perishables and date containers per HEI standards.
• Keep buffet stocked and check pars for shift needs.
• Return unused items to storage with proper dating.
• Assist in controlling food costs and waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment properly.
• Be regular and reliable in attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
