Job summary

Residence Inn San Diego Downtown/Gaslamp Quarter is seeking a Breakfast Attendant/Cook responsible for delivering high-quality breakfast service to guests, maintaining kitchen and buffet areas, and ensuring items are replenished during service.

You will work early morning shifts with flexible scheduling; both part-time and full-time opportunities are available, and you will collaborate with the hotel team to ensure a welcoming guest experience.

• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Cooking and assembling the breakfast service before mealtime and disassembling it thereafter.
• Ensuring breakfast items are replenished and available to guests during breakfast hours according to standard.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire breakfast area including equipment during and after breakfast hours.
• Wash dishes, clean kitchen and maintain daily temp logs.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Set up all coffee breaks, food breaks, plates and utensils in accordance with event requirements and standards.
• Ensure a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
