Sheraton San Diego Resort is hiring a Cook I to join our culinary team in downtown San Diego. The role focuses on preparing food items to recipe standards, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and delivering thoughtful guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The position requires strong multitasking, communication, and attention to detail, with flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and safety guidelines are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, understand, and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
• Must possess excellent communication, follow-up, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
• Ensure knowledge of the menu and all food products.
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s).
• Visual inspection of all food sent from the kitchen.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
