Job summary

Southern Pizza Company dba Pizza Inn is seeking a reliable Pizza Maker in Monticello, MS to prepare pizzas and salad bar items in a fast-paced restaurant.

You will complete the Dough Master Program certification, maintain clean dough-rolling area, and assist in other restaurant duties as needed. Compensation starts at $9.50 per hour; reports to the Manager.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a food preparation position preferred.
• Must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
• Must have a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill job descriptions of pizza maker and salad bar prep.
• Complete and is certified in the Dough Master Program.
• Roll Italian, Thin and NY dough.
• Prepare stuffed crust pizza.
• Keep dough-rolling area clean and organized.
• Take apart, clean and assemble the dough roller.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant when needed.
• Complete opening and/or closing checklists.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

Physical Demands

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to supervisors and employees. Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
