Job summary

Southern Pizza Company dba Pizza Inn in Monticello, MS is seeking a pizza maker who can also prep the salad bar. The role requires rolling Italian, Thin and NY dough, preparing stuffed crust pizzas, and maintaining a clean, organized dough-roller area.

Certification in the Dough Master Program and one year of food prep experience preferred. You will assist in other restaurant areas, complete opening/closing checklists, and report to the Manager in a typical restaurant setting with non-exempt

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a food preparation position preferred.
• Must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
• Must have a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Able to fulfill job descriptions of pizza maker and salad bar prep.
• Completes and is certified in the Dough Master Program.
• Able to roll Italian, Thin and NY dough.
• Able to prepare stuffed crust pizza.
• Keeps dough-rolling area clean and organized. Able to take apart, clean and assemble the dough roller.
• Assists in other areas of restaurant when needed.
• Responsible for completing opening and/or closing checklists.
• Other duties as assigned by Company Management.
