Job summary

Southern Pizza Company dba Pizza Inn in Monticello, MS is seeking a restaurant team member who can handle pizza making and salad bar prep with efficiency and cleanliness.

The role requires completing the Dough Master Program certification, rolling multiple dough types (Italian, Thin, NY), and maintaining a clean dough-rolling area while serving guests with urgency and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a food preparation position preferred.
• Must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill job descriptions of pizza maker and salad bar prep.
• Complete and be certified in the Dough Master Program.
• Roll Italian, Thin and NY dough.
• Prepare stuffed crust pizza.
• Keep dough-rolling area clean and organized.
• Take apart, clean and assemble the dough roller.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• Open and/or closing checklists completed.
• Other duties as assigned by Company Management.

Requirements

One-year experience in a food preparation position preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.

Must have a sense of urgency.

Physical Demands

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to supervisors and employees. Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
