Job summary

Pizza Inn, Inc. in Grenada is seeking versatile kitchen staff to handle pizza making, dough prep, and dishwashing. You will roll dough in Italian, Thin and NY styles and prepare stuffed crust pizzas while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Hours include opening/closing duties; you may assist in other restaurant areas as needed. Prior kitchen experience is preferred and you will report to the Manager in a typical restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a food preparation position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill job descriptions of pizza maker, cut & pack and dishwasher/busser.
• Complete and be certified in the Dough Master Program.
• Roll Italian, Thin and NY dough.
• Prepare stuffed crust pizza.
• Keep dough-rolling area clean and organized.
• Disassemble, clean and assemble the dough roller.
• Assist in other areas of the restaurant when needed.
• Complete opening and/or closing checklists.
• Other duties as assigned by Company Management.

7. Assists in other areas of restaurant when needed.
8. Responsible for completing opening and/or closing checklists.
9. Other duties as assigned by Company Management.

Requirements

1. One-year experience in a food preparation position preferred.

Physical Demands

Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to supervisors and employees. Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight. Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
