Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a Shuttle Operations Assistant to support daily shuttle activities and ensure adherence to contractual guidelines. The role involves assisting with client relations, safety, and smooth operations at the Des Moines location.

The position requires a minimal high school diploma, possible CDL Class A/B depending on location, and a DOT Medical Card. Availability for second/third shifts and weekends may be required to meet location needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience or training preferred.
• CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement may be required depending on location.
• DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate) required.
• Availability for second/third shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of shuttle operations within contractual guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain professional client relations and a positive business image at the location.
• Support day-to-day activities, assist with management duties, and respond courteously to customers.
• Assist with maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of shuttle routes, landmarks, and major streets for the designated area.
