Job summary

Iapetus Holdings LLC, headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks a DOT Specialist to administer and continuously improve the company’s Department of Transportation, FMCSA, and driver compliance programs.

As the regulatory SME, you will partner with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, Fleet Management, and field leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risk, maintaining audit-ready documentation and supporting drug/alcohol testing and MVR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Occupational Safety, Transportation, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of DOT/FMCSA/compliance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT drug and alcohol testing, and CSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer a comprehensive DOT and FMCSA compliance program.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to review compliance status and follow up with drivers.
• Maintain audit-ready records including Driver Qualification Files and MVRs.
• Lead preparation for DOT audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.
• Monitor CSA scores and performance indicators; provide regular updates to leadership.
• Train managers and drivers on DOT compliance requirements.
