Job summary

Cedar's is seeking an experienced DOT Compliance Specialist to support and strengthen our transportation safety and regulatory programs. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will serve as a subject matter resource for DOT and FMCSA compliance across our transportation operations.

This hands-on role administers DOT compliance programs, including DQ files, HOS/ELD, drug/alcohol testing, accident investigations, audits, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of DOT/FMCSA or transportation compliance experience.
• Experience maintaining Driver Qualification files and related documentation.
• Experience with Hours of Service and ELD systems.
• Experience preparing for DOT/FMCSA audits or reviews.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance.
• Maintain Driver Qualification files and related records.
• Monitor HOS/ELD compliance and investigate violations.
• Coordinate with third-party admins and laboratories for testing.
• Lead accident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Prepare for audits and regulatory inspections.
