The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking a Donor Services Trainer to provide and document training for apheresis, special donations, and blood collection procedures. Travel to fixed site centers may be required, with possible short-term out-of-town stays for training initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing staff, maintaining CPR certification, conducting audits, and ensuring manuals and procedures stay inspection-ready and compliant with FDA/AABB standards.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR Instructor certification preferred before hire or after starting.

Mansioni

• Provides training and development for staff performing donor collections.
• Obtains and maintains CPR instructor certification and provides CPR training for new hire and existing staff.
• Provides remedial training as indicated by Donor Services management.
• Provides updates regarding trainee progress to appropriate manager.
• Ensures staff training manuals are inspection/audit ready.
• Updates JDTRs as needed.
• Assists with training issues during inspections/audits.
• Ensures procedures and policies comply with regulatory standards.
• Performs departmental audits to ensure equipment QC compliance.
• Assists with investigation of occurrence reports and retraining for staff.
• Assists with daily collection QC review; performs on-floor collection duties when required.
• Performs special projects as directed by management.
• Backs up department management.
• Other duties as assigned.
