COMMUNITY BLOOD CTR INC is seeking an Automated Blood Collection Specialist to support donor care and perform whole blood and apheresis procedures in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and donor experience while delivering outstanding service.

You will ensure donor suitability, adhere to regulations, and participate in training, with a collaboration-focused team environment and a variable shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with at least six months of progressive experience.
• Phlebotomy experience and medical terminology required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine procedures using equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Determines donor eligibility and documents health history.
• Performs whole blood and automated collection procedures according to SOPs.
• Ensures donor consents are obtained and performance standards are met.
• Exhibits exceptional customer service at all times.
• Completes required training within designated time frames.
• Demonstrates teamwork and reliability; participates in meetings and training.
• Reviews documentation timely, including time cards and receipts.
