Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking a Donor Services Trainer to develop and document training for apheresis, special donations and related procedures in compliance with FDA and AABB standards.

Travel to fixed site centers as needed, conduct on-floor collections when required, and assist management with audits and training records to maintain accuracy and readiness for inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of blood collection experience.
• CPR Instructor’s Certification (preferred).
• General knowledge of Hematology.
• Valid Driver’s License with dependable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Train staff on donor collections and CPR.
• Ensure training materials are inspection-ready.
• Update training records and JDTRs as needed.
• Assist with audits and inspections for compliance.
• Provide on-floor support and back up management.
• Travel to fixed center sites as needed.
