Job summary

Tawani Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Development Assistant for part-time, on-site work in Wisconsin. The role focuses on high-volume donor data management, gift processing, and donor communications to ensure accurate records and a positive donor experience.

You will support the Development Department with reporting, correspondence, and event-related activities, while maintaining confidentiality and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience with donor management software, particularly Tessitura, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain donor and member records in Tessitura.
• Maintain the Tessitura donor database and data integrity.
• Generate reports, print, proofread, and send donor/member acknowledgments.
• Assist with preparing routine development and membership reports.
• Provide direct administrative support to the Development Department.
• Support monthly membership renewal and subscription outreach.
• Process credit card payments and update online donation system.
• Attend and assist with programs, events, and meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
