Job summary

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) is seeking a Development Program Specialist to support Wisconsin Medicine donor relations, stewardship, and engagement initiatives. The role collaborates with university departments and the WI Medicine stewardship team in a hybrid office setting.

The position emphasizes donor acknowledgments, impact reporting, event planning with the Wisconsin Medicine and WFAA teams, CRM data management, and materials preparation for donor visits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant work or internship experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Canva for visual content is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a proactive, confidential environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with comprehensive stewardship of donors, including acknowledgements and impact reporting.
• Collaborate with gift fund administrators and directors of development.
• Coordinate stewardship programs and meeting logistics for events.
• Prepare donor-facing materials and support donor visits.
• Maintain donor records and advisory board memberships in the CRM.
