Job summary

LifeSource seeks a Donor Services Manager to oversee the Donor Services Center, guiding referrals, risk assessments, and family approaches for tissue and eye donation. You will ensure regulatory compliance and partner collaboration across Tissue Processors, Eye Banks, Funeral Directors, and ME/Coroner teams.

You will mentor staff, manage performance, develop the department budget, and drive cross-departmental initiatives aligned with LifeSource’s mission and annual goals.

Qualifications

• Seven years of healthcare responsibilities or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience.
• Medical terminology and anatomy knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; background check required.
• Experience managing a call center or 24/7 staffed environment.
• Experience in organ, eye or tissue donation/transplantation preferred.
• Ability to obtain certification in organ, eye, or tissue donation within 2 years.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the Donor Services Center operations.
• Lead processes for donor referrals, evaluation, and family approaches.
• Ensure compliance with UNOS, FDA, AATB, AOPO standards.
• Strengthen relationships with ME, Coroner, Funeral Directors, and tissue banks.
• Mentor and develop team members; manage performance and training.
• Assist in budget development and performance metrics.
• Collaborate across departments to improve policies and procedures.
• Participate in on-call schedule as needed.
