Job summary

The Marine Mammal Center is seeking a Donor Services Associate to provide database, administrative, and data-entry support within the Donor Services department. The role centers on managing donor records in Salesforce NPSP to support gift processing and stewardship across the organization.

Essential duties include gift processing, data hygiene, and producing receipts, while also handling mail, donations, and volunteer coordination.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience equivalent to being currently enrolled in college or having an associate or bachelor’s degree in administration, development, business, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in development, fundraising, or equivalent; Salesforce or Salesforce NPSP experience is a strong plus.
• Trailhead certifications or coursework related to Salesforce NPSP are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Gift Processing: data entry of gifts into Salesforce NPSP and processing various payment types with accuracy.
• Administrative Support: manage mail, donation processing, inventory, and donor research in Salesforce NPSP.
• Leadership: assist with recruitment and training of Development Volunteers.
• Other Duties: perform special projects and data-related tasks as assigned.
