Job summary

Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is seeking a Development Specialist to support the Philanthropy team with accurate data entry, donor records, and timely acknowledgments. You will help ensure donations are processed correctly, maintain reliable donor data, and provide excellent donor service to Colorado Springs and Pueblo communities.

This on-site role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and collaboration with fundraising colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with data-entry experience.
• Experience with donor databases and fundraising platforms is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process donations from mail, online gifts, recurring gifts, and in-kind contributions.
• Enter gifts accurately into the donor database and maintain donor records.
• Prepare acknowledgments and receipts; support month-end/year-end statements.
• Provide friendly donor service via phone, email, or in person.
• Assist with special events and general philanthropy team projects.
