Job summary

CSL Plasma in Memphis is seeking an energetic donor center assistant to greet donors, guide them through screening, and ensure accurate data entry in the center system. You will help maintain safety and determine donor eligibility for plasma pheresis.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months in clerical or customer service work, preferably in a medical setting, with basic math skills. Training will cover SOPs, health screening, and donor education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and verifying donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing screening procedures following SOPs and conduct health screening such as BP, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Explain screening process, health tests, appointment system, and center policies to donors after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer phones or transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions during and after pheresis and alert staff as necessary.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
