Job summary

CSL Vifor is looking for a donor screener at our Philadelphia plasma center. You will greet donors, guide them through registration and screening, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety policies.

Eligible candidates will perform health checks, assist with finger-stick tests, and maintain accurate donor records. Training will cover screening procedures, donor education, appointment systems, and center policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service role in a medical or health setting.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, screen and register according to SOPs.
• Perform health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger-stick for hematocrit/protein.
• Educate donors on screening, tests, appointments, policies and nutrition.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor system.
• Answer donor questions or refer to medical staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE/OSHA policies.
• Be alert to donor reactions and escalate to staff when necessary.
• May cross-train in other areas and handle calls as needed.
