Job summary

CSL Vifor operates plasma collection centers and is seeking a friendly front-desk team member to greet donors and guide them through registration and screening for the plasma pheresis process.

You will assist with health histories, basic measurements, and safety checks while learning to educate donors about products, policies, and nutrition. All data must be recorded accurately and confidentially.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and register them to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist in screening procedures per SOPs, including health history assessment and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature; conduct finger sticks for hematocrit and protein levels.
• Educate donors on screening, tests performed, appointment system, center policies, nutrition, and other relevant information.
• Maintain donor data in the electronic donor information system and ensure data confidentiality.
• Handle donor questions promptly and professionally and escalate as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
