Job summary

CSL Plasma York, PA is seeking a Medical Screener - Reception Technician focused on customer service. You will greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration for plasma pheresis.

Responsibilities include performing health screenings, answering questions, educating donors on programs, and maintaining accurate donor records while adhering to SOPs and safety policies. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and may involve bilingual communication as needed to

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service role.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

Greet donors and complete screening registration to verify suitability for donation.
Assist donors in the screening process per SOPs, including health history, medical questions, and referrals.
Perform health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger stick for hematocrit and protein.
Educate donors about donor programs and answer questions; ensure timely, accurate responses.
Maintain donor data in the electronic system and follow safety policies.
Cross-train in other areas as needed and monitor donor flow issues with staff.
Some roles may require bilingual skills.
