Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center support professional in Norfolk, VA to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration and screening procedures. After training, you will help educate donors about products derived from donated plasma and center policies, while ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to SOPs.

You will perform health screenings, document donor information, and coordinate with medical staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service, preferably in medical/health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors in registration procedures and explain procedures per SOPs.
• Perform health screenings such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; conduct finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on therapeutic plasma products and center policies after training.
• Register/applicant transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer phones and direct callers to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed and support safety policies.
