Job summary

CSL Vifor Largo, FL is seeking an entry-level Donor Center Associate to greet donors and guide them through screening for plasma pheresis. You will verify donor suitability and register applicants per SOPs.

After training, you may educate donors about plasma-derived products, perform basic health screenings, maintain confidentiality, log data accurately, and support center operations while ensuring safety and courtesy at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in screening procedures per SOPs and refer to medical staff when needed.
• Perform health screenings (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products after training and answer questions professionally.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions and alert staff as required.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain confidentiality of all donor and center information.
