Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the full shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays work is required.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• 90% of tasks involve glove use due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year of customer-facing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and prioritize donor safety.
• Screen new and returning donors; record donor vital signs and fingerstick results.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes per procedures.
• Be available to donors across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Support overall plasma center operations as needed.
