Job summary

BioLife in Loveland, CO is hiring for a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy role. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and support plasma center operations with donor screening, vital signs, and chart preparation.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is paid and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and good hearing nearby equipment.
• Prolonged glove use due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors, focusing on donor safety and service quality.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Support donors across varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
