Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center receptionist in Miami, FL to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening process. You will support health questionnaires, vitals checks, and sample collection under SOPs to ensure donor safety.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products derived from plasma and assist in donor registration and transfers. Strong customer service and math skills are essential for accurate data entry and calculations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist donors in screening procedures; assess health history and basic questions related to donation.
• Perform health checks (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger-stick hematocrit/total protein samples.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma after appropriate training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
