Job summary

Under SOPs, you will assist with screening, perform basic health checks, answer questions, and ensure accurate data entry in the donor information system. Some roles require bilingual skills and cross-training across center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in clerical or customer service in healthcare is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify suitability for plasma pheresis.
• In SOPs, assist donors with screening procedures and health questions.
• Explain screening process, tests, fees, and center policies; answer questions.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after training.
• Answer calls or transfer to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor for reactions during/after pheresis; alert staff.
• Escalate donor flow issues to supervisor.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor system.
• Understand hyperimmune program policies if applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and a clean work environment.
• May cross-train in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
