Job summary

Qualifications

• Three months minimum experience in clerical or customer service role, preferably in medical/health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Willingness to follow SOPs and maintain donor confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and complete registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors with screening procedures, including health history review and basic medical questions, and perform health checks (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; finger stick for hematocrit and total protein).
• Educate donors on information related to therapeutic products from donated plasma after training; respond to donor questions timely and accurately.
• Support donor registration/transfer as needed and answer incoming calls or route to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff as required; ensure accurate donor data is recorded in the donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies/forms are available; comply with HSE/OSHA policies and center procedures.
• Confidentiality of all donor and center information; potential cross-training in other areas as needed.
