Job summary

CSL Vifor is looking for an on-site Donor Center Associate in Colorado to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through screening and registration for plasma pheresis. You will perform health checks and document results, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires strong clerical and customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to follow SOPs. Training may include donor education and cross-training across center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process following SOPs, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening tasks such as checking blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature, and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors about therapeutic products from donated plasma after training, including screening tests, appointment system, and policies.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and route caller inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and ensure supplies and forms are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization discretion.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
