Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a part-time Medical Screener - Reception Technician to welcome donors, guide them through the screening process, and perform basic health checks at the Gulfport center. The role involves patient-facing customer service, data entry, and adherence to SOPs to ensure donor safety and center efficiency.

You will assist with registration, health history review, basic measurements, and may educate donors on plasma-derived therapies and center policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature and finger stick for hematocrit/total protein.
• Educate donors on the screening process, health tests, appointment system, center policies, nutrition and related information.
• Answer caller questions and route calls to appropriate staff; maintain donor data in the electronic system.
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after pheresis and escalate as needed.
