Job summary

CSL Plasma in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Medical Screener - Reception Technician to greet donors and guide them through the screening process, verify donor suitability, and record data in the electronic donor information management system. You will support SOPs and coordinate with medical staff as needed.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, at least three months in clerical or customer service work (healthcare preferred), and ability to perform basic math.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and verify donor suitability.
• Assist with the screening process in accordance with SOPs.
• Complete health history screening and answer questions related to donation.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Perform basic health screening measures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger stick as needed.
• Educate new donors on the donation process and center policies after training.
• Assist with donor registration and transfer as required.
• Answer phones and route calls to appropriate staff when needed.
