Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor screening assistant at our Fort Smith plasma center. You will greet donors, assist with the screening process, and help ensure donor safety and data accuracy.

The role requires handling health information, basic math, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Some duties may include training in donor education and cross-training for other center needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months in clerical or customer service role, preferably in medical/health setting.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and guide them through registration for donor suitability.
• Assist with screening procedures including health history review and basic health checks (BP, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger-stick sample collection for hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and maintain confidentiality.
