Job summary

The position follows SOPs, performs health screenings, educates donors on the process and policies, and maintains accurate donor data in the center systems. It requires basic math and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist donors in completing screening procedures per SOP.
• Conduct health screenings and finger-stick for hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors about the screening process, health tests, appointment system, center policies, and nutrition.
• Register and transfer donors as trained; answer calls and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the donor information management system.
• Monitor donors for reactions and alert staff as needed.
• Maintain clean work environment, follow HSE/OSHA policies, and wear PPE as required.
