Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) seeks a dynamic Philanthropy Officer to report to the Director of Major Gifts, Western Region. The role manages cultivation, solicitation, acknowledgement and stewardship for a portfolio of existing major donors and prospects.

Responsibilities include developing strategies for gifts ranging from $25,000 to $250,000, building networks with donors and PPFA volunteers, and collaborating with internal teams on donor communications and engagements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of major gifts or political fundraising and/or direct donor relationship experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Comfort with fundraising databases and online toolsets such as Salesforce/Blackbaud.

Responsibilities

• Develop cultivation and solicitation strategies for a portfolio of prospects and donors with capacity for $25,000–$250,000 investments.
• Build and manage networks of relationships with prospective donors and PPFA volunteers and staff.
• Coordinate communications and inform PPFA leaders for donor interests; assist with donor communications.
