Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Inc. seeks a Philanthropy Officer to lead a comprehensive fundraising program and donor portfolio with strong emphasis on major gifts and donor relations.

You will partner with senior leaders to set revenue goals, manage events, campaigns and grants, and mentor volunteers to achieve annual targets. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of exempt fundraising or development experience, or an associate’s degree plus 4 years of exempt experience, or a comparable credential.
• CFRE certification is preferred.
• Experience in fundraising, development, sales, marketing, event management or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive annual development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage a donor portfolio and fundraising program including major gifts, mid-level gifts, online campaigns, grants and events.
• Partner with senior leadership to set revenue goals, track metrics and adjust strategies to meet objectives.
• Provide staff support for solicitations and coordinate with executive leadership and volunteers.
• Lead regional fundraising events and oversee third-party, grant and community fundraising initiatives.
• Develop a coordinated year-round fundraising plan, target goals and monitor results.
• Manage the regional community board recruitment, onboarding, planning and engagement.
• Build donor relations, mentor solicitors, and expand the donor base while ensuring compliance and integrity.
