Job summary

Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank Inc. seeks a Donor Services Coordinator to manage data entry and Salesforce duties for the Development team. The role includes handling donor communications and representing GBRFB at community events.

The coordinator reports to the Director of Development Operations and will support fundraising by maintaining donor records, preparing acknowledgments, and assisting with in-house events.

• High level of competency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent computer skills that include mail merge, database management and spreadsheet competence.
• Demonstrated ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds.
• Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks.

Responsibilities

• Enter donation data from batches, online giving, events daily.
• Update donor records in Salesforce and merge duplicates.
• Mail thank you letters within 2 business days of donation receipt.
• Perform general admin tasks including calls, emails, and mail merges.
• Maintain confidential donor records and giving histories.
• Draft and arrange donor communications and personalized letters.
• Design spreadsheets, exports and analytical reports.
• Respond to donor inquiries and resolve issues via phone, email, or letter.
• Represent GBRFB at community events and assist fundraising activities.
