Job summary

Arkansas Foodbank seeks a Food Donations Coordinator to manage donor relationships and grow our food rescue program. The role requires extensive local travel and a professional, customer-focused approach to represent the Foodbank.

You will work with Retail Rescue and Procurement to solicit donations, visit donor sites to cultivate partners, maintain donor files, and recognize top donors. The position emphasizes food safety, accurate guidance, and collaboration with operations to optimize

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least three years’ experience in food industry, sales, or marketing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid Arkansas driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversees the development, retention, and enhancement of our food donation accounts.
• Visit donor sites to cultivate donor relationships and increase donation frequency.
• Coordinate with Retail Rescue and Procurement to solicit donations from manufacturers, distributors, farmers, and grocers.
• Travel up to 75% of the work schedule and maintain donor files and visit logs.
• Represent the Foodbank professionally and provide tours or information to donors and partners.
