Job summary

The American Red Cross in Winston-Salem area is seeking a role to support blood drive operations and sponsor engagement. This position assists account managers, coordinates recruitment activities, and ensures drives meet annual goals.

You will schedule education programs, maintain records in Hemasphere and OLS, and collaborate with sponsor groups. A bachelor’s degree and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, and negotiation skills preferred.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization.
• Must provide own transportation for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist account managers in achieving blood drive goals through drive management activities.
• Provide oversight and record keeping in Hemasphere and OLS to track sponsor group performance.
• Provide organizational and operational support to blood drive coordinators to meet collection goals.
• Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contacts and volunteers to meet objectives.
• Utilize tools and strategy provided to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity.
