Job summary

American Red Cross in Wilmington, NC is seeking an on-site Health/Medical role to support blood drive programs and sponsor relations. The position requires a bachelor's degree with at least one year of related experience and strong organizational skills.

You will assist account managers, coordinate on-site activities, maintain records, and contribute to achieving annual collection goals while ensuring compliance and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist account managers in ensuring blood drives achieve goal through drive management activities such as on-site recruitment, giving presentations, managing online appointment schedules, data entry, and sign-up table support.
• Provide oversight and record keeping in Hemasphere and OLS to track sponsor group performance.
• Support blood drive coordinators to meet collection goals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Schedule and implement education programs for sponsor contacts and volunteers to meet objectives.
• Utilize tools and strategies provided to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity.
