Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Donor Specialist in Cornelia to assess and process donated goods for our retail stores. This full-time, hourly role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You'll sort donations, assist guests, maintain safety, and participate in training. Requires basic math/reading, English communication, and 18+ for forklift eligibility; 1+ year production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years of production experience preferred
• Basic math and reading skills
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift (16-17 not allowed)

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia Retail stores
• Process donations in an accelerated manner to meet production goals
• Assist guests, provide donation receipts, and answer questions
• Sort donations into designated categories and maintain a neat donor door area/ADC location
• Follow safety and security practices and report hazards or injuries
• Attend trainings and meetings and perform other duties as assigned by management
