Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a donations processor to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale in our retail stores. You will process items quickly to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes guest interaction, safety, and teamwork; you will sort donations, assist with loading, and complete required trainings. Prior production experience is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required; forklift operation is age-appropriate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work at any Goodwill ADC within the territory as needed.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and "people first" attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Effectively communicate with management when necessary.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
