Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for our Retail stores. You will process items quickly to meet production goals while adhering to standard operating procedures.

Role demands a friendly, professional attitude toward guests, ability to handle questions, and effective teamwork. Prior basic math/reading and English communication skills are essential, with forklift operation eligibility required (18+).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years experience in production or general labor preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Strong written and spoken English; good interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work at any ADC within the territory as needed.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and grade donated goods for sale in retail stores.
• Process donations quickly to meet production goals in a fast-paced setting.
• Display professional, patient, and guest-first attitude.
• Provide donation receipts to guests at donation time.
• Sort donations into designated categories and maintain organization.
• Communicate with management and follow SOPs and training materials.
• Work with team to meet safety and efficiency standards.
