Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for our retail stores. You will process items quickly to meet production goals while following standard procedures and prioritizing guest experience.

Essential duties include sorting donations, assisting guests with questions, and maintaining a clean, organized donation center. The role supports growth within a mission-driven organization that values service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Good oral and written communication in English.
• Able to operate forklift (18+ to certify).

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and “people first” attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following SOPs.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Effectively communicate with management when necessary.
• Perform tasks according to training playbooks and work instructions.
• Maintain safety and assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
