Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is hiring a Donation Processor to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in our Retail stores. You will process items quickly while following standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports guests with receipts, sorts donations, maintains a clean donor area, and collaborates with management and forklift operators as needed. Strong English communication and basic math/reading skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and “people first” attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following SOPs.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Effectively communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively.
• Promote teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety practices and report hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
