Job summary

CSL in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Plasma Sampling Technician to ensure accurate sampling, testing, shipping, and storage of donor plasma. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collecting samples, maintaining proper labeling, applying sterile technique, and preparing shipping documents. HS diploma required; basic lab/warehouse experience preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma samples and move plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.
• Store plasma units per SOPs and handle unsuitable units as needed.
• Verify labeling accuracy by matching pre-printed and dynamic labels.
• Use sterile technique and heat sealer to maintain sterility and quality of samples.
